Tell us a little about your family.
I do not have a family of my own, yet, although I am very much looking forward to that part of my life! I come from a very close family, my parents have been married for 34 wonderful years and I have one of the most incredible brothers and a sister-in-law that a girl could ask for!
What are a few of your interests?
A few of my interests include being a part of my awesome church (The Bridge Community Church), UK Basketball, spending time with my girlfriends and last but not least, shopping!
What is something that is interesting about you that you would like to share with others?
One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I am studying Spanish as a major! I can hardly wait to be able to translate for those who aren’t capable of effectively communicating for themselves. I also became an EMT to volunteer my services in the community.
What is something you are looking forward to in the next few months?
Getting healthy! I have recently become inspired to simply change my habits and I have realized that I am the only person to blame for an unhealthy lifestyle, beit unhealthy foods or lack of exercise. I am consciously making changes to become the best version of me!
What is something you have learned from being an iBloom member and how have you applied it?
Becoming an iBloom member has been such a blessing in my life! The encouragement and faith building that I receive daily and weekly is simply priceless! Although I don’t communicate with the ladies of iBloom on a face-to-face basis, I have learned that it is possible to truly connect with one another!
What is something you like about being an iBloom member?
I love the inspiration and encouragement. As a member, we ladies can thrive with one another. When one is down the others can pick them up, and vice versa.
What challenge are you facing right now that you trusting God to help you with?
I am trusting God to give me strength to get through my divorce. Divorce is the last thing that I thought that I would be going through at 27 years old. I suppose that nobody wants this, but it is what it is. As unforunate as it may be, I believe that I have become a better person through this process and I am hopeful for my future, no matter how disappointing this is to those around me. I know that God has a plan for my life greater than anything that I have yet to experience.
