Alice, tell us a little about what you do with Mary & Martha.
I help ladies who love to give: give to others, to their family, and sometimes to themselves. I help women who love to look for items with inspiration & who desire to have the daily visual reminder of God’s love in their homes. I am thrilled to help them find that perfect piece!
What would you say is working really well for you in your business right now?
Using Wish Lists as a customer service tool. Whenever I am at a party or event, I ask ladies to write out a few items they would like, but did not order. I then watch for when these items are a guest special, going to be discontinued, on low inventory, or on sale, and follow up and let the her know. It offers great customer service, gives me a reason and chance to reconnect, and is easy to send a quick text or email to them. In turn, this has helped me with last minute sales too!
How has iBloom helped you grow your business?
iBloom knows the very situation, problem, and situations each of us women in business encounter. How deep and wide their knowledge runs is so amazing. They teach me so many things that I never knew, offer a community to ask questions with like-minded ladies, and continually encourage that the direction and focus we take is where God is leading us, and where He is wanting us to grow (professionally and personally). I have done several programs with them, and the social media with Jen Bennett and Boot Camp with Kelly Thorne Gore have been impactful. So glad God directed me to their services!
3 tips to help you make it work in your business too:
- Seek to serve. When you have a heart for truly serving your ideal customers your customers will want to do business with you! Ask yourself each day how you can make their lives easier and save them time, frustration, and money.
- Stay in touch. Keep in contact with your customers with information that is valuable to them. With your blog, emails, wish lists like Alice uses, and your social media strategy, you can be serving your customers round the clock without working all hours.
