  1. The older I get the more I seem to put things off. My task this week is to try and get everything together to get my taxes filed. Also spend more time in His word.

  2. I LOVE the idea of a Buddy System to help us get through the things we procrastinate on!! 🙂 I will get my taxes done this week so my husband can stop asking “Did you get your taxes done yet??” over and over!! 🙂 Definitely something I put off every year!! Have a great week everyone!!

  3. Great idea! I bought a time too and its really helping me out a lot!

my daughter taught me how to make lists on my iphone! i have a grocery list, an errand list, and a daily projects to accomplish list. my phone is always with me, so i don’t loose my lists; and it is so nice to just delete the projects completed. the lists help me stay focused and not procrastinate. thanks to ichoose2 love my life, lesson #4, i now stop all projects at 6:00 pm, and then enjoy dinner and the evening with my husband. if my list is not completed by then, i give myself some slack, and keep the project on my list for the next day.

I never was a procrastinator – I figured if I got “whatever” done, then I could do something I enjoyed doing. However, when I started writing, I became a skilled expert in procrastinating on all writing projects. I now have a book proposal due on Friday, March 1 and I must finish it. My deadline to finish is Monday, February 25. This early date is not designed to give me leeway, but time to send the proposal to a friend of mine who is an editor and will critique it for me.

By the way, the reason I procrastinate on my writing projects?? fear of rejection.

  6. Right now, I admit I am procastinating regarding my book and moving forward with women connect women ministry. For my book, I need to send a copy to editor referral to edit and format by Monday May 20. My goal is to have the book published by December 31, 2013! Also, I need to make phone calls to establish connections and non-profit status by Friday May 24. I commit to complete these tasks by the end of next week.
