This is a wonderful message. I think we all work so hard on perfecting our shortcomings, we forget about the tools that God has actually given us. I can talk to anyone about anything. I am compassionate with those that are truly downtrodden. I will champion an underdog desperately trying to stand up. God has blessed me with the ability to see how He has loved me in the darkest of my days, Thank you for reminding me to remember the good things I have been graced with! Have an amazing week!

Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous strengths!!! The world is a better place because you are choosing to use your strengths joyfully!! YOU are a gem!!

  2. I’m hearing this message loud and clear. I’ve been feeling the need to do some outsourcing so that I can spend more time on the things I do best – and were called to do!. This is a confirmation.
Here are 5 of my strengths: offering encouragement to others, teaching, listening, planning/organizing, insight.

    • Betsy Ringer says:

Hi Cathey!! Thanks so much for responding!! You have wonderful strengths that need to SHINE!! And I know you DO let them shine! I am praying that you do some outsourcing so you can continue to use your strengths – filled up and overflowing!! Enjoy this day!!! And everyday!!

  3. Carol Williams says:

My five strengths are my compassion; humor; a work-hard ethic; ability to see and work on both the big picture and/or small details and being liberal/open-minded. I think I tend to focus on these strengths already just because of my comfort level with them and the confidence I have in these areas.

    • Betsy Ringer says:

HI Carol! I’m so glad that you are using your strengths everyday in every way. You sound like a go-getter with a bright, happy attitude! Be sure to rest to recharge those batteries and then let your strengths flow! I’m sure you are a blessing to many!!

  4. So good to focus on the good!! Makes me feel better doing so. My strengths are: teaching, creativity, helping & ministering to others, organizing & planning, arts. Thanks for sharing this story Betsy! God bless.

  5. Love this video! We can get discouraged thinking about things we don’t do well and we can lose focus on where we do great!!! My strengths are being optimistic, seeing the big picture, writing, encouraging others, & making people laugh.
Love you Betsy and all you do to help us all love ourselves and the gifts God has given us individually as we serve others.

  6. What an encouraging reminder and post. I think my five strenths are:
    1 Organizational skills
    2, Dependable
    3. Good listener
    4. Compassionate
    5. Servant’s heart

  7. Thank you for this! I have long suffered from “Well Roundedorness,” and am determined to learn and confirm/affirm my strengths. While some of my weaknesses are due to what I call the “blah-blahs!” (ie past hurts etc), I am coming up for air to recognise that it is truly OK to run with a strength.
    My five?
    Love to learn
    Passion for God’s Word
Passion for family …perhaps Passion is a strength?
    Writing
    Speaking

There we go……love and blessings, Kathleen
