  1. Hi Kelly!! Great video!! I plan on getting back into the habit of Weekly Meal Planning. We used to do that and it was great! This time however I’m going to do things a bit different so as to also help my family save money. I’m going to look @ my store’s weekly circular to see what’s on sale and plan meals around those items. Plus, before making my list I’m also going to see what I have on hand already. How many times have we thought we needed something while @ the store only to come home and find a full unopened one!!?? 🙂 I also have taken hamburger purchased @ the store and made my own meatballs before freezing them. No need to buy pre-made ones!! 🙂

I’ve been teaching my daughters the importance of being prepared for the next day. They get their outfits laid out and bookbags packed and ready to go. They have a VERY early bus pick up in the morning so it’s really important for them to be ready on time. I’ve also implemented Morning/Afternoon/Evening routines for them (without them knowing it) by reminding them of everything they need to do during those times. It’s been working because there have been a few times they have done what needs to be done before I have to remind them! 🙂

    Have a great week! HUGS

  2. We actually have 2 points in our house that we can call “Command Centers” The first one is official is is a Master Calendar hanging on the basement door in the kitchen. This is where we post appointments and outings for everyone so we are all aware of each other’s schedules. The second one is unofficial and it is the bathroom mirror. When there is something super important to remember or attend to, we use a dry erase marker and write it on the mirror. After all everyone is in the bathroom during the day and looks into the mirror, right? Then it’s easily erased with a kleenex. It works for us!

  3. I am so happy that I ran across this video blog. I can’t believe that I’ve missed it all this time. I am implementing new schedules of household duties that are delegated to others due to being on bed rest. I’ve realized I cannot do it all alone. I have healthy meals delivered 3 days a week then plan the remainder of the week with at least one day a “crock pot delight”.

This is truly a learning process of managing the home but as I position ourselves for greatness and a new baby this is vital. Thank you for your help.
