  1. Lavena Fisette says:

I choose to remember announcing my new business website to family and friends.

I choose to remember a blog owner saying yes, I can write for her.

I choose to remember being proud of my son and daughrer.

    • Betsy Ringer says:

Oh Lavena!! These people are so blessed by your making a choice to experience the moments and joys of relationships!! Bravo!!

  2. I chose to remember the smile on my husbands face when he enjoyed a piece of my homemade apple pie
I chose to remember the exquisite rainbow we saw this evening; every color of the rainbow was so vibrant, especially the purple.
I chose to remember the beautiful clouds and blue sky shaped a dove and God’s open hand that I saw while I Iwas taking a walk today.

    • Betsy Ringer says:

Hi Cheryl!! Oh I hope you have continued to choose to enjoy your moments. I know how I love love love life when I do!! I hate rushing by and missing the joys that God has for me!!

  3. Carol Williams says:

I enjoyed sitting on my couch with a flavored cup of coffee reading a wonderful book. I remember smiling and thinking, “It just doesn’t get much better than this!”

My trainer told me today that I was lifting 30 pound dumb bells. She said, “Women are ALWAYS stronger that they think they are.” I remember lifting the weights for three sets of fifteen and thinking I was doing something that I didn’t think I could do–just minutes ago.

Someone recently reminded me it is okay to ask for help. I asked for help from my husband tonight. He immediately helped me–for the second time today. I felt good about being able to ask for help and I could tell from his smile he felt good about helping me!

    • Betsy Ringer says:

Hi Carol. I loved how you talked about strength AND weakness! But wait!! It takes strength to ask for help – at least that’s how it is for me!! Thanks so much for sharing!! I know most of us can really relate with your comment!!

  4. Michele says:

I choose to remember the time I got to spend with my daughters before they went to school this morning. I choose to remember the peaceful car ride into the office today. I choose to remember to be thankful that God has given me one more day on Earth and that I am able to see, walk, talk, breathe etc on my own. Sometimes I think we get so used to those things, that we tend to forget to be thankful for the little things in life. Have a great week!! 🙂

  5. Rene Owens says:

    1. Enjoying the walk at the park and seeing the ducks.
    2. Taking my dad lunch while he was teaching a workshop.
    3. Children enjoying their time at the library.

  6. 1. Loved finding that my “night flowers” (primrose) have finally bloomed flowers after 3 or 4 years. They are just beautiful!

    2. Opened Facebook to see that my son had changed his photo to a picture of him, my daughter and my sweet husband. Their smiles were just precious!

    3. My morning weigh-in showed the scales lower than they have been in MANY years.

    • Betsy Ringer says:

Hi Jane!! Thanks so much for sharing your “moments.” They are certainly precious – just like you!!!

  7. I chose to stop, be still and listen to a co-worker who has no one in her life right now, and she just wanted to express herself and open up and feel more needed.

I went out on a date with my husband and didn’t fall into the “mother” role of telling him how and when he should do things. I found the good stuff that he has and encouraged and loved him.

I noticed my kids as they are growing and that tugging of the heart, knowing they may not make choices that I would make, but appreciating who they are becoming.

    • Betsy Ringer says:
