  1. We love our local CSA. We have a year round CSA through our Farmer’s Market. It’s tough when life is busy to use it all (being honest here) but for the most part, we are blessed to have local veggies and eggs on a weekly basis. Makes me feel so much better about what food I’m eating.
One thing I want to get “back” to doing is recycling more like you mentioned. We moved 3 years ago and were so excited to have curbside recycling. However, it’s a small bin and as you said, we ahve more recycling than trash (when we do it) so I think we confused the pick up guys with our bags upon bags of recycling.

  2. I do recycle our plastic bags in numerous ways, but this is certainly an area I need to work on. Thanks for the ideas and the inspiration!!

  3. I live very green. I have to fight my mom…who is paper dish happy but we make it work 🙂

  4. I too reuse my plastic bags for the trash cans in our bathrooms. I also reuse the envelopes that come in the junk mail for my coupons or even for those I donate to the military, my family or the local women’s shelter. Great minds think alike Lori!! 🙂 One other thing I started doing a few years ago is I reuse the paper my children’s schoolwork comes home on. If it’s not something I need/want to save (and there is no writing on the back) I will cut it into 4 squares and use that for scrap paper. I have some by the computer, by the phone and in a cupboard in my kitchen. I use those papers to jot down reminders for myself, my grocery list etc. Just to be clear I NEVER do that with my children’s artwork! 🙂 That always gets saved and put in a special bin. 🙂 Have a great week!!
