Simple Christmas Gifts for Teachers

When my two daughters were in school, I loved giving Christmas gifts to their teachers. As a TeacherGiftsformer teacher, I always felt special and appreciated when I received gifts. But, I also loved giving to all their teachers – the art teacher, the music teacher, cafeteria workers and more – this could get expensive!

So, one year I purchased inexpensive Christmas coffee mugs and filled them with one of our favorite treats – reindeer mix. You can make the gifts more festive with colored plastic wrap and bows. After the teachers enjoy their treats, they can use their mug for coffee or tea!

I had such fun delivering the gifts throughout the school building and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Reindeer Mix

1 lb. of white chocolate

3 cups rice Chex cereal

3 cups corn Chex  cereal

(I often buy just one kind of Chex cereal and use 6 cups)

3 cups Cheerios

2 cups stick pretzels

2 cups dry roasted peanuts

12 oz. M&M’s (buy the Christmas colored ones!)

Combine all ingredients except white chocolate.  Melt the white chocolate and coat dry ingredients.

Spread on wax paper or cookie sheet.  Let dry, crumble, and enjoy!
