I just mailed 4 friendship cards this morning. I found sweet cards that had a beautiful saying about friendship & then I wrote about what their friendship had meant to me and how memories with them are woven through who I am. I have been so blessed with friends that are more like family.

  2. I love to send cards. I send them at random times whenever someone comes into my mind. I have had friends say when they get their’s it was perfect timing. It is always His timing. I always have a stock pile of cards. Today a friend FB chatted with me apologizing to me for being such a horrible friend, how she was incapable of loving others at this time and how hard it is for her to let others in. She told me how much she loves me, how much she values our friendship and to please forgive her. I told her that she could start today and she had just opened herself up by sharing with me from her heart. I told her that a friend “loveth at all times” and I hold that promise near and dear to my heart. So for this challenge to happen right now is again……
His perfect timing. Thanks so much.
    Kindest regards,

  3. I am definitely up for this challenge. Sad that life gets so busy that I need a challenge to wake me up to do something I should be doing on a regular basis. I have a friend who is going through a very very rough patch with one of her adopted children and it is heart breaking to not be able to do something more, but I hope the card will at least give her a little bit of hope and will make her smile, cuz I miss her smile 🙂
    Hugs and Blessings,

I am sending a card to my best friend from 2nd grade! She and I were reconnected this past year because we were both on Facebook….we hadn’t seen one another in years! We were best friends, inseperable, for several of our childhood years…and lost touch when high school ended. We got back in touch and found that we had even more in common as adults than we did when we were children! 🙂 Just this past May, she and her family came to visit us…(we live 10 hours away from our hometown…she still lives there)…my children and her children became quick friends, just like she and I did so many years ago. Her son and my son were actually the same age when they met as she and I were when we first met. Having her visit was like having part of my family back. She and I have become so close…when she left, I laid on my bed and cried. It was so hard to let her go, but I know that the friendship does cover time and distance… She is like the sister that I never had… 🙂

  5. Deb White says:

I was handed a check through my Husband last night totally out of the blue from someone that said that the Lord inspired them to do this. The money was for medications, she said. Medications that I am taking that the cost is pretty overwhelming at the moment. I look at that check and get a sweep of love from head to toe that I physically feel. (no it is not a hot flash, LOL) I thought today before I call this person and thank them that I would pass this wonderful feeling forward. So I emailed a friend to tell them of 3 things that I adore about their friendship and how much they mean to me. Now, I will call the special friend who listened to the Lord’s soft whisper of a voice saying, take that hard earned money from your entire weeks pay and give it to Deb. Don’t worry I have your back too.

  6. I was planning to write a note to my sister-in-law who is currently trying to conceive baby #2. They had a lot of trouble conceiving baby #1, it took much longer than anticipated, but they persevered without medical intervention and put it in God’s hands. I was planning on sending her a little note of encouragement…but she called this morning to tell me she is pregnant! I am so happy for her! So now, my note of encouragement has turned into a note of congratulations! She is the most incredible person! She is encouraging and self sacrificing. She has been known to walk up to strangers who are obviously having a bad day and pray with them. We live on opposite ends of the country and I am so thankful that it is easy to stay in touch even though we cannot see each other face to face!
