This is a prayer for uncertain times; disaster; doubt; adversity or distress. Or maybe when you have a feeling of foreboding. Pray confidently. Ground yourself in God’s words and hold tightly to them. Summon His strength within you. Lean into His power. Trust Him – He IS Ever Present.
You are incredible Creator! The seas, mountains, flowers and fields sing of your splendor. You are the Star Breather: “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.” (Psalm 33:6 NIV) Your hands created every delicate part of me, and then you poured strength into me. “You go before me and follow me. You place a hand of blessing on my head.” (Psalm 139:5 MLT)
With you I am prepared. Even when I don’t feel equipped or strong, you are ever present to guide me in wisdom and replenish the strength I need. I may feel like I am facing a battle today. And yet I know tomorrow may bring something I’ve never faced before; decisions that are a hundredfold more difficult to make; and grief that threatens to engulf me.
In you my soul stays strong. In you I focus on the strength you have given me. I trust that even when I don’t know what to do that you have gone before me and as I step out the answers are made known, the enemy falls, and your power in me rises mightily.
I choose joy in everyday living. I hold those I love in prayer and kindness. I bless those around me. Lord, you watch over me and protect me. I savor time with you and breathe in your delights all around me.
And Lord, I take on your fierceness when trouble arises. I walk courageously. Fear falls to the ground because you are my Strong Tower, My Fortress and Refuge. I kick danger from my path and wield the shield of faith and sword of the Spirit. You promise that you go ahead of me and will not fail or abandon me. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Lord, may I be a leader, a light to others. May I splash your Hope wherever I go. May I stand strong, stay with you and hear the songs of victory surrounding me.
Elohim, Powerful God, I call to you, you see, and you answer. I am tuned to your voice. You grant me wisdom in this time of confusion and alarm as well as in times of harmony and triumph. I stay focused on you with clear thinking and God-honoring action. You are Provider, Protector, Refuge and Shepherd.
I pray in Jesus’ name to our Everlasting King; El Shaddai, Almighty God.

Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT
So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
You have been my refuge; a strong tower against the enemy. Ps. 61:3 ESV
